Building Mechanical Service Design (HVAC & Ventilation)

Development of the mechanical design from zero% to 100% completion.
Participation in teleconference design meetings as needed and up to three in-person meetings with the project team.
Raising and responding to RFIs.
Provision of information to the assessor/ESD consultant for sustainability credits, as required.
Design certification and compliance with relevant regulations, including updates to the design.

Ventilation design for various building spaces, including common areas, service rooms, and enclosed parking facilities.
Stair pressurisation systems for fire safety compliance.
Heat load estimation and HVAC equipment selection and scheduling.
Outside air and exhaust provision for commercial and mixed-use tenancies.
Design for HVAC duct layout and air distribution, including provisions for future commercial fit-outs.
CFD modelling calculations for performance optimisation and value engineering.
Coordination with architectural and all other service drawings.
Design of seismic restraints as required for compliance.
Prepare mechanical design drawings to full construction level.
Provision of design statements as required by certifying authorities.
Completion of design for all statements leading to final building certification.
All design work and drafting services are performed as desktop work, except for the allocated site meetings, as mentioned above.
